This 21 year old woman expressed both functional and cosmetic concern with the large size of her breasts and the impact they had on her life. She experienced back pain, neck pain, bra strap grooving in her shoulder, and difficulty fitting in dresses and swimsuits. She was also the subject of ridicule her entire life because of the size of her breasts. Dr. Dauwe performed a breast reduction and breast lift and completely changed her life. Since surgery, she has not had any back or neck pain. Her clothes fit perfectly, and she is no longer ridiculed for the size of her breasts.
