Procedure Details
Dr. Phillip Dauwe performed a buccal fat removal procedure in order to effectively thin this patient's face. During the procedure, which was performed in our Dallas, TX plastic surgery facility, the buccal fat pads within the cheeks were removed to create a slimmer facial appearance. Buccal fat removal requires no outside stitches, and sutures are only placed within the inside of the mouth.
