Dr. Dauwe and his staff are like a dream team! I legit leave wanting to be friends with his staff they are all so adorable. Seriously though, any type of surgery is so scary and they make the experience so comfortable. I felt like he listened to what I wanted and was honest with what was going to be realistic with my body type. I was referred by Dr.Dauwe by a few of my clients and am so thankful I chose him to do my procedure. If you’re in the Dallas area I wouldn’t recommend anyone else. I had a breast reduction, lift, nipple reduction and implants. Dr. Dauwe basically reconstructed my entire chest! I wouldn’t let anyone else perform this surgery. I wish I could give him 100 stars. Dr. Dauwe performed an abdominoplasty and breast augmentation for me after my two pregnancies. I can’t overstate how happy I am with my choice and my results. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Dauwe and his staff. A breast augmentation is a procedure I have wanted and researched for years. I set up 2 consults and Dr. Dauwe's office was head and shoulders above the other consult I had. Dr. Dauwe is the real deal and totally understood I wanted a natural, soft look that wouldn't overwhelm my petite frame or get in the way of my favorite fitness activities. I personally work in the medical field and whenever I mentioned I was having a procedure by him, I heard nothing but fabulous things about his reputation, kindness, and results. Seriously, ask around. His reputation is pristine!! His staff is so sweet, understanding, and friendly. I started to get nervous closer to surgery but Julie and Sara went above and beyond to soothe my nerves and help me feel confident about the procedure and desired results. Julie was always so quick to answer my emails and Sara was so understanding and addressed my anxieties. My pre op was so thorough, and they even checked in on me a few days before the procedure to make sure I didn't have any lingering questions or concerns. I was never once made to feel like I was a burden or asking too much of them. I was a bundle of nerves the day of surgery but Dr. Dauwe, his anesthesiologist, and the facility staff were so sweet and calming, and everyone took fantastic care of me. I compared my healing process to friends of mine who have had the same procedure and can confidently say Dr. Dauwe has a fantastic touch. I was in pain the day of surgery, but after that I just have tightness and can move my arms around easily. I only have the tiniest little bruise at one of my incisions. I am 12 weeks post-op from a breast reduction & lift. A surgery I’ve wanted for years, but was afraid of the procedure/recovery due to past experience with anesthesia. They call her the LIP LEGAND! not only has she corrected so many work of other injectors, but many across the US follow & study her work because it is so intricate. If you’re thinking about giving Tess a shot absolutely do it you will have no regrets. If the world of lip injectors was macaroni, she would be the cheese. I came to Dr. Dauwe for a breast lift and the experience has been amazing. I’m only 3 weeks post op but Dr. Dauwe did a great job with my lift and making everything look proportional and the down time was very minimal! He is very thorough in his work and it shows! I am now a little over 2 months post op after Dr. Dauwe performed a tummy tuck, breast lift and implant exchange for much smaller implants. Kylie does an incredible job and makes you feel so relaxed while she is doing her facials derma planing and so much more. She is informative and tells you about the results. I am 6 months post op from a tummy tuck and hernia repair performed by Dr. Dauwe. You will instantly fall in love with the staff at the consult. They are so attentive and welcoming. From the moment I had my consult, I knew I was in good hands. Any nerves I had were gone after speaking to Dr. Dauwe and his team. I felt informed and prepared going into the procedure and my recovery was great. I was out and about the very next day and back to work the following week. Where do I start..my surgery was on July 19, 2023. Still in recovery currently as I did breast aug, tummy tuck and liposuction in multiple areas - 5.5h-6h surgery time. I can tell you this: next day after surgery I could lift my hands like nothing happened (feeling like you did more push-ups than you should, some soreness sure but that’s expected!) After 1.5 weeks I was already full force working visiting construction sites (I run my own business), and 2 weeks later from surgery day - I can pretty much do anything (following doctor’s “what you can and cannot do at this stage”). Recovery was EASY, pain - what pain? I had once sciatica on both legs due to over lifting weight at the gym and THAT was worse lol I am EXTREMELY happy with Dr. Dauwe. The entire process starting from me coming in for a consultation until now was simply amazing. Doctor was very reassuring and give his honest opinion based on my goals, I fully trusted and cannot be happier. So if you are considering (but scared and yes, there are many plastic surgeons out there), I would highly recommend to book a consultation with Dr Dauwe. I visited Kylie here for a hydro facial and I was not disappointed! First, Kylie’s skin is amazing (which is a good sign for someone who will be working on my skin). She was also very transparent as to what she uses on her face, and even showed me before and after photos of her own skin. I have skin that has sun damage (diving and cycling), and am also facing those lovely issues most women who are in their late 40s and early 50s see on their skin. Adult breakouts are not fun. I also have sensitive skin, so many products make things worse. Kylie explained every step of the process (this was my first hydro facial) and it was both relaxing and yielded results. As she worked, Kylie was very specific on what I can do to maintain this good start for middle aged skin. She is methodical, precise, and very thorough. She explained the differences between various procedures offered at the clinic, which would be good compliments for each other, and ones that I would not yet need. Once the facial was complete, Kylie walked me through the products she used, but was not pushy regarding purchase. The prices might sound a bit high, but her directions on use meant I do not have to purchase products every few weeks. These are twice yearly purchases, which will save me money in the long run.  I did end up purchasing products (but I intended to do so if I was pleased with the results, and I was very pleased). Kylie and I had a nice conversation about maintenance, and I have already scheduled a follow up appointment. The other women at the clinic were very welcoming and I will definitely be back. I have not experienced any plastic surgery, but will need some in the future because of droopy eyelids. When that time comes, I will contact Dr. Dauwe. I won a silent auction gift certificate for this procedure through a philanthropic event, so it was also really nice to see that Dr. Dauwe and his office support the community. If you are not happy with your skin, tired of the smog, pollution, age, sun, and all the other things that assault people on a daily basis while living here, go see Kylie! She does not disappoint. Dr. Dauwe is a phenomenal surgeon! He and his team have completely changed my life - words can’t express how grateful I am. I came to Dr. Dauwe from out of state via a mutual friend of mine and his practice manager, Julie. I‘ve had neck/shoulder problems for 10 years (neck fusion, multiple nerve ablations, PT, chiropractic, etc.) with minimal long term relief. Other physicians were out of options. I researched the benefits of a reduction mammoplasty and Dr. Dauwe performed the surgery 5 days ago. Amazing results! Immediate pain relief and terrific aesthetic look! Dr. Dauwe and his team are phenomenal! They have changed my life for the better, so much more than they even realize. 3 days post-op and I am a completely different woman, for the better! I highly recommend Dr. Dauwe and his team. I have a short frame and have had large breasts for 30 years. The last 10 years I had neck pain and it has becoming increasingly worse over the past 2 years, significantly impacting my quality of life. I’ve seen all kinds of doctors and surgeons in nationally recognized places. I’ve had a neck fusion, injections, multiple nerve ablations, PT, chiropractic help, etc. - all with modest relief and not enough to function well. I met Dr. Dauwe through an acquaintance of his practice manager. My last resort was a breast reduction. No physician had recommended it, however I read it might help so I scheduled a consultation and surgery based on my friend’s advice. Dr. Dauwe is truly amazing! Dr Dauwe did a lower face and neck lift on me in February of 2023. I had the best experience from the consult where he suggested that I get fat injections in my cheeks( using my own fat that he liposuctioned from my belly) in addition to the lift. I am so pleased that I took his advice. All my fine lines in my cheek area are gone.. I did not even bruise and had no real pain to speak of. My neck looks amazing!! I highly recommend him. Dr. Dauwe is Dallas’ Best PS! I started going to Dr. Dauwe’s office a year ago (November 2021) to see Tessa Thornton for Botox. My daughter is 5 years old. My stomach never returned to its former glory after having her which gave me a sense of body dysmophia I have never experienced. I’m naturally a slender person with a fast metabolism and while I do workout I have never had to work at being thin. No matter what I tried after pregnancy I just couldn’t get rid of my pooch or c-section shelf. While waiting for Tessa, I noticed so many happy patients come and go in the waiting room. The day of surgery I arrived at the Baylor surgery center one hour before my procedure. They took me back and the team there was delightful. I could tell I was in the best hands. His anesthesiologist, Dr. Amy Ripley, from Dallas Anesthesiology Associates was lovely, encouraging, and explained everything she was going to do during the procedure. Dr. Dauwe came in to see me, and once again proved I was entrusting the right physician for the job. He marked me up and we were off to the OR. I can’t put into words his precision and attentiveness. My pain was well managed and I’m already standing pretty straight. I am a type A personality through and through. I have a mile long list of questions every doctor I visit. My husband always goes along and has to give the poor doctors "the look" because he knows the pain they are about to be faced with when I pull up my notes on my phone. I also am pretty in tune with my body and want a thorough understanding of everything I do before I proceed. When I finally made up my mind to have surgery I made spreadsheets and searched over 40 doctors before I booked my consults. I made a lot of phone calls, emails, read alllll the reviews anywhere I could find them. I'm talking a serious vetting process! We live a couple hours from Dallas and I was willing to go wherever I needed to go to find someone aligned with what I was looking for. Dr. Dauwe was my second in person consult. I cancelled my third because I knew after my experience in office (which is absolutely beautiful) that this was where I needed to be. For me there is so much information and emotion when making thees kind of decisions. I was dealing with a hernia that I think is typically outside the scope of plastic surgery so I had the added complication from that which required more back and forth between my GS and Dr. Dauwe's office regarding CT scans and getting the actual hernia fixed ASAP because it was causing a lot of grief. Julie was incredibly responsive, kind and made me feel like a treasured friend I'd known forever. She was so patient and thorough with all my emails and calls for MONTHS before and after my hernia surgery and honestly the cheerleader you need in your corner if you struggle to make decisions. At my consult, Dr. Dauwe was understanding and empathetic to my concerns about restoring my core. I had been doing Physical Therapy for my core and did have my hernia repaired prior to seeing him but I was still having so much core trouble from having babies. I also live a very active lifestyle & eat very well. It's hard to articulate what you want your end goal to be with words and even harder to find pictures because I didn't want to be someone else after this I just wanted to be a restored version of me. At my 2 week post op check I slapped another laundry list of questions on Dr. Dauwe about when I could do this and that and per usual he did not rush them. Answered them confidently and clearly. I feel that everything I wanted and needed was restored through my procedure with Dr. Dauwe and his staff. The surgery center staff was incredible too. I am blessed in that the financial aspect was not a weighing decision for me but I know for many it is because insurance doesn't cover it. I heard someone once compare the cost of plastic surgery to a car. You purchase a car to drive for a few years but have a hard time justifying the cost to your own body that you "drive" around forever. I also struggled with the vanity associated with plastic surgery because I felt like that's not who I am. I am currently almost 3 weeks post-op and feeling great. Hard to really put into words the impact my surgery has had on my life, but I will say that Dr. Dauwe and his whole staff has made this experience what I would call life changing. Dr. Dauwe has a calm, humble, demeanor, and I had been following him on IG based on a friend who mentioned he did her breast aug a few years back. When I met with his team in January they were already booked out almost 6 months for a mommy makeover. That’s a good thing! You want to find someone who is booked. Not only did I love his conservative nature and perspective in what I was looking to have done, but he spent way more time with me answering my questions than what you typically find in the healthcare space. I’ve been in healthcare working with physicians for almost 20 years, so it is saying something when a physician has no problem answering all the myriad questions you have when you are going to have a big procedure done. They also made what could be an awkward feeling, feel very normal. He has great eye contact, and his office manager Julie is great at her job and been in the industry a long time. But I have to say, what comforted and confirmed for me the most was his office staff and their friendliness, willingness to help, and their knowledge about my procedure and the process. Sara in particular is a gem of a human. I thought for my pre-op she was just being nice answering all my questions and giving me suggestions, and then when I saw her for my post op I realized: MAN! I wanted to do a breast reduction for over a decade and was nervous and decided not to go through with it due to my skin keloid. A previous surgeon told me I would scar really bad afterwards. After having my son, my breast were even larger. I decided to go ahead and go through with the breast reduction knowing there was a chance of scarring. Dr. Dauwe explained to me my chance scaring, but had a oncologist doctor lined up to start radiation immediately after the procedure. Well his approach worked, no scaring and the reduction was successful. Also in the process of the breast reduction procedure he was able to do the lift and remove an unwanted tattoo. I went to Tessa for Botox and filler’s. I was so scared to get my lips done I didn’t want them looking like most lip fillers do. I just wanted them to look natural. Flash forward to COVID and finally getting to my date (I had originally scheduled my operation for the summer back in January), Julie and the office team made sure to talk me through any of my concerns about getting a massive procedure like this done during COVID. All of my visits (both pre-op and post) have been during the pandemic and I have always felt safe and comfortable with the standards of safety of the office. The surgery center was equally amazing as was the staff who took care of me during my first night of recovery, which for someone who was super anxious/never had any history of hospital stays is saying something! My post-op was a breeze. I was given all the information and support needed to be able to set my recovery up for success from Dr. Dauwe and his team, and always had immediate communication for any concerns or questions I had. As for the results, I was IMMEDIATELY happy with everything even bandaged and swollen. I'm two months post-procedure and I cannot tell you how incredibly delighted I am with my results, and the changes keep coming (as expected and told, because it'll take about 6 months for things to settle out). I am a very athletic person and to be able to return to working out without having to wear two bras to hold down the ladies is easily the best feeling ever (and to not even need a bra just doing chores around the house is a whole new world for me). I wanted to come on here and write another review as I got another service outside of surgery through Dauwe's practice. I recently started Qwo treatments for my cellulite and they are working! I have always struggled with cellulite, my entire life! I have never been able to get rid of it, even when I was super tiny. QWO WORKS!!! After the first treatment I saw a significant result (at least 60% of my dimples disappeared) and now after my second treatment, 90% dimples are completely gone on my butt area. I may need a 3rd treatment on my legs but will not need a 3rd treatment on my butt. More

Dr Dauwe carefully explained the procedure and what to expect following the surgery. This is, by far, one of the best things I have done for myself! I had a breast augmentation done by Dr. Dauwe and being a patient who has never had any surgery besides wisdom teeth, I was not even nervous about the procedure until I was in my gown because of him and his team. From the moment I called I got the best customer care I could imagine. The staff is observant and very connected with you through your journey. This was the first time taking off the bandage put on me after surgery (no surgical bra). I was a bit scared of how they looked but felt they were not too bad for 24hrs later. I had a bit of anxiety around day 4-5 thinking I might have gone too big for my frame and just overall how they felt. I am feeling much better about them and hoping to continue to trust the process. I slept a bit on the side last night and it didn’t hurt, but I quickly went back on my back thinking the implant may move. Lol. Updated on 18 Oct 2020:Updated on 30 Oct 2020:Official 3 wks post-op and my nerve pain is slowly going away. I was so scared I would be stuck with it for life! Not fully gone, but I feel its getting better. I can feel my left side is getting softer faster and my right side is a bit tighter but I think its because I had more volume or loose skin on my left side. I have also been sleeping with a very light bralette and it has been helping. I am not sure if I should still have a compressed sports bra but Ive been taking it off at night and putting it back on during the day and it seems to help the softening/ dropping. Ive added pics with my phone on the right/left side to see the difference when holding up phone on each side. I go back on Nov 11 to see the Dr for my 1 month and I’ll see what he says! Updated on 11 Nov 2020:Just got back from my 1 month Post Op appt and I couldn’t be happier! Everything looks good and Dr Dauwe was just as happy with the results. Phenomenal experience from consultation to post-op. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Dauwe and his staff! Sara and Julie are so sweet and do a fantastic job preparing patients for their surgery day. Catherine Kinney called me the night before to make sure I was prepared for anesthesia. Her voice was so calming and she really made me feel at ease for my upcoming procedure. The morning of my surgery, I was greeted with many friendly smiles, including Karen and CRNA Kinney. Before my procedure, Dr. Dauwe came in and measured and marked me up. He once again went over his plan for my procedure and what I could expect after surgery. I had my breast implants removed with a lift. The most surprising thing to me was that HE CALLED THURSDAY EVENING TO CHECK ON ME!! I thought that was so thoughtful of him. After five days, I can honestly say my results are above and beyond what I ever expected. Dr. Dauwe did a wonderful job! I’ve had minimal pain and my breasts are looking great! He is very knowledgeable in his field, he is professional and kind. I highly recommend him for any plastic surgery needs! More

I couldn't figure out the source of my GI problems after seeing MULTIPLE specialists, GI doctor, Colorectal Surgeon, multiple diagnostic tests with no answers. I have known Julie for years, and thankfully after talking with her one day she suggested I come see Dr. Dauwe. One look at my abdomen, he said "has anyone told you that you have a pretty significant umbilical hernia?" I had no idea, but Dr. Dauwe was able to figure out the source of my problems and knew how to get it corrected. We decided that a Tummy Tuck due to Diastasis Recti and lipo because why not, along with a hernia repair would fix my problem, and he was right!! I had surgery 7/17/20 and my problems are GONE! I also have an amazing looking tummy again! My recovery was way easier than I had imagined! I took 2 weeks off work and enjoyed having time to relax. I had pain, but it was controlled pretty easily. During my recovery some concerns arose, Dr. Dauwe called and talked to me numerous times, I even bothered him while he was on vacation. He's an amazing surgeon, but he's also a caring, fun person to talk to. He will make you feel completely comfortable. Plus his office manager, Julie, is the sweetest person you will ever meet! I cannot praise Dr. Dauwe and his staff enough, from start to finish it has been an amazing experience. I had my consultation back in January where Dr. Dauwe took his time to listen to my lifestyle and goals (I was looking for a breast reduction and tummy tuck after significant weight loss) before making his suggestions. He listened to my concerns and was supportive of any decision I wanted (which is a MUST for any doctor) and encouraged me to take some time with my decision. After about a week I was pretty set on going with his suggestions, and made the call to the office where Julie (the office Wonder Woman) worked with my insurance and answered any additional questions I had. Flash forward to COVID and finally getting to my date (I had originally scheduled my operation for the summer back in January), Julie and the office team made sure to talk me through any of my concerns about getting a massive procedure like this done during COVID. All of my visits (both pre-op and post) have been during the pandemic and I have always felt safe and comfortable with the standards of safety of the office. The surgery center was equally amazing as was the staff who took care of me during my first night of recovery, which for someone who was super anxious/never had any history of hospital stays is saying something! My post-op was a breeze. I was given all the information and support needed to be able to set my recovery up for success from Dr. Dauwe and his team, and always had immediate communication for any concerns or questions I had. As for the results, I was IMMEDIATELY happy with everything even bandaged and swollen. I'm two months post-procedure and I cannot tell you how incredibly delighted I am with my results, and the changes keep coming (as expected and told, because it'll take about 6 months for things to settle out). I am a very athletic person and to be able to return to working out without having to wear two bras to hold down the ladies is easily the best feeling ever (and to not even need a bra just doing chores around the house is a whole new world for me). I cannot begin to describe how grateful I am to Dr. Dauwe for taking the time to listen and advise based on my lifestyle, goals, and body frame for what he suggested for me. The procedures that I had done were: breast augmentation and tummy tuck, I waited 22 years to have this done and the results were amazing. I really have cried of happiness to see my tummy the way it used to be before my first born. First off, Tessa is amazing! When I walked in, her room was spotless and so inviting. I was so impressed with her knowledge of all of this stuff that honestly I was a little scared of before coming in! She assured me that she knew the look that I was trying to achieve and showed me recent photos of patients to show me their final looks. We laughed during the numbing process- it tastes funny but isn’t uncomfortable. Then she started with filling my lips. It stings a bit but hey- it is a needle. Just had my 6 week post op with Dr. Dauwe yesterday and I cannot stress enough how happy I am with my results from my breast reduction surgery. All the scarring is healthy and I healed really quickly. I went back to work the next week (I have an office job) and was able to do my normal routine. Great Experience! I Love my Procedure - Ive been wanting a breast augmentation since I was 19 years old. I always thought I will eventually grow into my breast but I was wrong. My cup size was a 36 A, I am 5'4 and 152 pounds with no kids at age 26. Thank You Dr Dauwe - I just had a breast reduction about three weeks ago by Dr Dauwe. I am thrilled with the results and wish I had done it years ago! My recovery was so much easier than I had expected! There really were just a few days of pain, and it was not even that bad. Dr Dauwe made the entire experience so pleasant and happy. Where do I even begin? His 5 star status on Google prior to me even leaving this review is ample evidence that his level of quality, professionalism and bedside manner is bar none the best in his industry. Upon arriving for my consult I met with Julie and Sara, who are incredibly and genuinely sweet, personable and full of great energy. When I met with Dr. Dauwe to discuss the size and look I was going for (Breast Augmentation) he was honest and very transparent about what max CC would compliment my body type and frame. No plastic surgeon I've consulted with prior really went over the anatomy of my personal body while also explaining what going "too big" can do to the appearance, most especially long term. I appreciated the significant amount of time (most especially in comparison to meeting with most doctors) that Dr. Dauwe spent with me. Ensuring I was 100% confident before putting down any money or scheduling my surgery day. Surgery Day: I'll begin by saying I've never been put under general anesthesia and for that I was beyond nervous and full of questions.. they were meticulous at answering each and every one of them.. great deal. I showed up that morning and was set up on IV's and then taken into the surgery room. They had everything down to the temperature cozy and right in there, I laid down on the table, where they had heaters under the blankets. I chatted with his nurses, who were both INCREDIBLE with very nurturing, gentle and playful spirits. They placed the mask over me for sedation and the next thing I know I woke up in a recovery room.. ALL DONE! Dr. Dauwe personally called me the evening of surgery and the following day to ensure I was comfortable and adjusting into my new girls properly. I was impressed by that because I had my surgery 2 days after Christmas, a few days before the NY. He has a wife, kiddos and a NEWBORN that deserved all of his time, but he made it work and reaching out to me around such a busy, surrounded by family time spoke volume to me in seeing his genuine care for his patients. THE COOLEST PART? I went out to DINNER and to the park with my son that evening! I was in pain on a scale of 1-10, 5 only for the first hour... then all pain stopped for good and hasn't reoccurred. Answered Prayers - How blessed I was the first day I called Dr. Dauwe's office! He actually answered the phone! Anxiously, I told him I had breast implants that were 35 years old and one had ruptured according to the mammogram I had just had. I was sure that he would be horrified that I had not had anything done to my implants since my first surgery, but he wasn't. I thought, too, he would not like to hear that I no longer wanted to have breast implants. He listened to every concern I had and heard every story I had about trying to find a plastic surgeon to help me. Most importantly, Dr. Dauwe wanted me to be comfortable with my self image. So he did exactly what I wanted. He removed the implants and gave me a breast lift. I actually could write a book about how God was in every moment of this experience with Dr. Dauwe! Breast Lift and Implant Journey - After my initial consultation on May 9th with Dr Dauwe I found out I needed a lift and implants. I am 5' 2" and started as a 36C. I am 51 years old and have 2 grown children that I breastfeed. Dr Dauwe recommended no more than 360 cc's for my size and statute in order to get the best results. I originally thought I wanted to go larger but trusted his opinion. My surgery was an anchor lift that requires your incisions have time to heal before being stretched  if you get larger implants. I didn't want to have a 2nd procedure and was happy with the size Dr Dauwe selected for me. Also, I really appreciate Julie and Sarah in the front office. I can't say enough nice things about them. They help you every step of the way from scheduling appointments, answering questions to emailing paperwork and discussing cost of the procedure. Best plastic surgeon hands down! - This is my second procedure with Dr. Dauwe. The man truly has a gift! I had my rhinoplasty with septoplasty done and got more lipo as well. I was so nervous and he's got such a good bed side manner. I can't wait to see how my nose comes along. After years of hating my nose I decided to get it done. He did such a great job on my mommy makeover I decided to go ahead and let him fix my nose, 100% glad I did! I had my procedure done Monday October 1, and later that night he called and checked on me personally. He truly does care about all his patients. His office staff Julie and Sarah are super awesome and super patient!Updated on 4 Oct 2018:Lol I look so lovely the pain is better than I though it was going to be. I've stopped taking my percocet and started using the tramadol. Was able to sleep fully through the night last night as well. It's weird I can breathe through my nose but don't smell anything if that makes sense. With a bit clearer head today I looked closer at my nose and can really tell I'm going to like it! I also got my lipo in my arms and back, I'm more sore with the lipo than the nose job. I've been up walking around more today as well.Updated on 30 Oct 2018:Loving my new nose thus far. I still reach up in the middle of the night to feel my nose. I still cant believe it sometimes that I actually got a nose job! I'm still having to wear my cast when i wear my glasses. 240/275 CCs, 5’4, 130 lb, Natrelle Silicone Breast Augmentation - Hi all, I have been wanting a Breast Augmentation for almost 10 years now and I am finally doing it! From years of buying Bombshell bras and being unhappy in a swimsuit or wearing certain tops/dresses, I am very excited! I am 5’4, 23 years old (no kids) and ~130lbs, athletic build. My current bra size is a 32C/34b but my left breast is more of a B and my right is more of an A.As for surgeons, I chose Dr. Phillip Dauwe here in Dallas at Lemmon Plastic Surgery Center and I have booked my appointment for August 8th (1 month from today, so excited!!). During my consultation, I was SO pleased with his professionalism and that we were completely in sync with my goals and his recommendations. His recommendation was to do 240/255 CCs but after making rice sizers and looking at a million reviews and pictures, I am going to ask about doing 255/275 or even 275/295 based off his recommendation and how things look in surgery! I go in on Thursday at 8:30 a.m. and I am getting excited/nervous! I have bought Arnica pills which I started taking last night, picked up all of my RX's, bought Tylenol Extra Strength and Tylenol PM and now I just wait! My mom is coming tomorrow to stay the night with me and take me to surgery so we are going to go get some snacks for me to have around the house and some cute pjs or sweatpants that will be easy to wear for the next few weeks. I also ordered some front-zip sports bras from Amazon and they are so soft and stretchy, I think they are going to be perfect! Wish me luck and if you have any pre/post-op things you loved having, let me know!Updated on 8 Aug 2019:Surgery went really smooth, I came in and got my IV and talked to Dr. Dauwe about the final size. When we went into the operating room I was awake for about 2 minutes then the anesthesiologist said to take some deep breathes and I was OUT like a light. The next thing I knew, I was waking up in recovery with boobies!! Right now, I'm laying in bed waiting for my pain meds to kick in because my chest isn't necessary "right" but it feels like I did the most intense chest exercises of my life which is uncomfy. I will try to post a picture from the recovery room, not sure how swollen they are yet but we did Natrelle SRM Moderate Plus, 240cc in the left, 275cc in the right! Updated on 9 Aug 2019:Just sharing a few photos from the day of surgery and 1 day post op. Slept on my back with the muscle relaxers and I am starting to feel some of the fluid retention but overall, no severe pain. I will keep updating as the week goes on!Updated on 20 Aug 2019:Hi all, I am feeling great and I am 2 days from removing my surgical tape and seeing my incisions! I have felt good and I have been off all pain meds (Tylenol included) since last Wednesday! Most pain has been under my armpits but almost all pain is gone now other than tightness around my incisions. As far as looks go, they look GREAT! My right breast was much smaller and has a lot more stretching to do so it is dropping a bit slower. Updated on 18 Oct 2019:Hi everyone, I had been bad about updating so here is an update on the girls! First of all, I am loving them! They are the perfect size (240L/275R cc) and they have gotten so soft over the last month! I have also been able to do Pilates, workout, and run without any issues (with the exception of extreme chest weakness). Right now I am using an ace bandage to push my right implant further down as you can see it is still pretty high but I really do not notice it that much until I take photos like this. I am also using ScarAway strips and BioOil on my scars when I get out of the shower! More

Hands Down, Best Plastic Surgeon in the U.S. - I was referred to Dr. Dauwe through my insurance while trying to start the process of getting a breast reduction. From the moment I walked in their office, I felt so welcomed and Julie Garcia, one of his patient coordinators treated me like a friend from the get go. I had already had one bad experience with another plastic surgeon while trying to get this procedure done and she immediately put my mind at ease and told me she didn’t think getting my procedure covered would be an issue. I filled out paperwork and was put into a room to wait for Dr. Dauwe. At first I was getting a little impatient with the amount of time I had waited, afraid it was going to be like my first experience, but I heard him talking to a lady in the next room over and could already hear the kindness in his voice before I even met him. When it was my turn to be seen he walked in and introduced himself and was so nice and patient. I told him my story, what I wanted done and why, and what had happened with the first surgeon I tried to use. The appointment did not feel rushed at all, he was genuinely listening to what I had to say and understood what this surgery meant to me. He told me that it was his favorite surgery to perform because it changes his patients lives! He took measurements, pictures, and talked to me a little bit about the process, and he was so warm and friendly the entire time. Three weeks later I heard back from Julie that my procedure was approved and we immediately set a surgery date for October 30th. They constantly stayed in contact with me and kept me up to date on everything I needed throughout the entire process. Dr. Dauwe was already seeing patients again only 2-3 days after his new baby girl was born, including myself for my pre-op appointment, which shows just how much he cares about his patients. The morning of surgery he came and checked in with me after I had been given my IV and drew me up and really took his time and paid attention to every detail. After waking up from surgery I could not help but just immediately start crying after I looked under my gown at my new breasts. He came by to see me before I checked out and held my hand and told me he was glad he was able to do it for me and I could not stop thanking him, still crying. My phone number changed just a week or two prior to surgery and I forgot to update Julie on the change before everything was all said and done. He was so kind to reach out to my mother all the way in Atlanta after he couldn’t get ahold of me to check on how I was doing post op and let her know he was trying to get ahold of me. After getting my new number from her, he called me from his personal number and told me to call or text at any time if I have any issues or questions so he can help me out personally. I just can’t say enough good things about him and his work. My breasts are beautiful, my pain is gone, and I’m so happy that I found Dr Phillip Dauwe so I can recommend him to all the women in my life that are going through the same struggles I was just a few days ago.
