The most common patients Dr. Dauwe sees in his Dallas plastic surgery practice are women who have had children. The volume loss and skin stretch associated with pregnancy and breastfeeding results in a deflated droopy breast. With a combination of breast lift and augmentation with silicone or saline implants, Dr. Dauwe can restore your breast to the shape and size you had before pregnancy. Another great scenario to combine breast augmentation and lift is in patients who have lost a significant amount of weight. Massive weight loss has a similar effect on the breast as the volume changes associated with pregnancy. Breast Lift with Implants Recovery & Results
Dr. Dauwe’s patients go home the same day after a breast augmentation with lift and no drains are used. You are encouraged to stay mobile after surgery and can shower after 24 hours. Typically, most women can return to work by approximately 1 week after surgery.*
Results after your breast augmentation with lift should be assessed after all the swelling resolves. You can look forward to a youthful and full breast shape that is repositioned higher on your chest, and your nipple will be located in a more aesthetically pleasing position on your breast.*
