Dr. Dauwe performed an abdominoplasty and breast augmentation for me after my two pregnancies. I can’t overstate how happy I am with my choice and my results. After extensive research and consults with other plastic surgeons, this was an easy decision. There are so many reasons to choose Dr. Dauwe’s practice, but here are my top five: (1) His training is impeccable. He attended top programs from medical school through residency and a prestigious aesthetic surgery fellowship. (2) He has the ability to listen and understand the result you’re looking for and the artistic eye and technical skill to deliver it with precision. (3) He’s widely-known in his field, and his reputation is excellent. Just ask another plastic surgeon if they’ve heard of him. (4) He’s a thoughtful communicator who takes the time to answer every question and thoroughly explain his approach. I felt fully prepared and educated before my procedure date and throughout my recovery. (5) His office team! They are absolute pros and just a joy to be around! I didn’t realize how much this would matter to me, but they made me feel comfortable and confident through every step of the process. Julie (who is extraordinary) and the entire team are 100% competent and professional, endlessly patient and knowledgeable, and always, always warm and friendly. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Dauwe and his staff. A breast augmentation is a procedure I have wanted and researched for years. I set up 2 consults and Dr. Dauwe's office was head and shoulders above the other consult I had. Dr. Dauwe is the real deal and totally understood I wanted a natural, soft look that wouldn't overwhelm my petite frame or get in the way of my favorite fitness activities. I personally work in the medical field and whenever I mentioned I was having a procedure by him, I heard nothing but fabulous things about his reputation, kindness, and results. Seriously, ask around. His reputation is pristine!! His staff is so sweet, understanding, and friendly. I started to get nervous closer to surgery but Julie and Sara went above and beyond to soothe my nerves and help me feel confident about the procedure and desired results. Julie was always so quick to answer my emails and Sara was so understanding and addressed my anxieties. My pre op was so thorough, and they even checked in on me a few days before the procedure to make sure I didn't have any lingering questions or concerns. I was never once made to feel like I was a burden or asking too much of them. I was a bundle of nerves the day of surgery but Dr. Dauwe, his anesthesiologist, and the facility staff were so sweet and calming, and everyone took fantastic care of me. I compared my healing process to friends of mine who have had the same procedure and can confidently say Dr. Dauwe has a fantastic touch. I was in pain the day of surgery, but after that I just have tightness and can move my arms around easily. I only have the tiniest little bruise at one of my incisions. It honestly just feels like I had a good chest day at the gym. He was so gentle and while I'm still healing, I am excited about my results. I had surgery Tuesday and went back to work Monday! Where do I start..my surgery was on July 19, 2023. Still in recovery currently as I did breast aug, tummy tuck and liposuction in multiple areas - 5.5h-6h surgery time. I can tell you this: next day after surgery I could lift my hands like nothing happened (feeling like you did more push-ups than you should, some soreness sure but that’s expected!) After 1.5 weeks I was already full force working visiting construction sites (I run my own business), and 2 weeks later from surgery day - I can pretty much do anything (following doctor’s “what you can and cannot do at this stage”). Recovery was EASY, pain - what pain? I had once sciatica on both legs due to over lifting weight at the gym and THAT was worse lol I am EXTREMELY happy with Dr. Dauwe. The entire process starting from me coming in for a consultation until now was simply amazing. Doctor was very reassuring and give his honest opinion based on my goals, I fully trusted and cannot be happier. So if you are considering (but scared and yes, there are many plastic surgeons out there), I would highly recommend to book a consultation with Dr Dauwe. Highly recommend Dr. Dauwe and his team!! I have never had a procedure done and the team here made me feel very comfortable and prepared. Hard to really put into words the impact my surgery has had on my life, but I will say that Dr. Dauwe and his whole staff has made this experience what I would call life changing. Dr. Dauwe has a calm, humble, demeanor, and I had been following him on IG based on a friend who mentioned he did her breast aug a few years back. When I met with his team in January they were already booked out almost 6 months for a mommy makeover. That’s a good thing! You want to find someone who is booked. Not only did I love his conservative nature and perspective in what I was looking to have done, but he spent way more time with me answering my questions than what you typically find in the healthcare space. I’ve been in healthcare working with physicians for almost 20 years, so it is saying something when a physician has no problem answering all the myriad questions you have when you are going to have a big procedure done. They also made what could be an awkward feeling, feel very normal. He has great eye contact, and his office manager Julie is great at her job and been in the industry a long time. But I have to say, what comforted and confirmed for me the most was his office staff and their friendliness, willingness to help, and their knowledge about my procedure and the process. Sara in particular is a gem of a human. I thought for my pre-op she was just being nice answering all my questions and giving me suggestions, and then when I saw her for my post op I realized: MAN! She’s not just a front desk person, she’s like THE pre and post op professional! I had called on day 3 after my surgery and she was amazing to work with on my meds. She was so patient both before and after my surgery – and it makes you feel like you are their only patient, though it looks to be a busy practice, you don’t feel that way. It’s not a mill, this is not the kind of place that doesn’t care for you and want to answer all your questions. They are truly genuine, I really felt that from Sara, Julie, Bre, and Dr. Dauwe. I haven’t seen Tess but I’m sure I will at some point, I’ve heard great things. This is a rock star team and if you’re on the fence or haven’t scheduled a consult and really walked out feeling very confident in the team – come and get one here – he will tell you his professional opinion. I have another colleague who came here before me and had a consult and he honestly told her to wait until a certain time – so he’s not doing this for volume – he really wants to do the right thing for you. One week post-op and feeling GREAT!! couldn't be happier!! First surgery and first time under anesthesia I was NERVOUS. I had my surgery on a Thursday and I was back to work by Monday. The pain was one of my big concerns and I only had "pain" the two days after surgery. I would say 3/10 wasn't bad at all. Consulted with 5 different doctors regarding breast augmentation. 1 made me feel horrible, 3 were ok, but Dr. Dauwe and his staff made me feel so comfortable. My experience with Dr. Dauwe has been beyond my expectations. The procedures that I had done were: breast augmentation and tummy tuck, I waited 22 years to have this done and the results were amazing. I really have cried of happiness to see my tummy the way it used to be before my first born. For me it was a challenge and I did a lot of research and after going to several doctors I decided to go with Dr. Dauwe because since the moment he met with me, I knew he was the one to trust. I went to Dr. Dauwe for a breast implant removal and a liposuction. I had under the muscle implants for about 7 years, and even though I didn’t have any issues, I was ready to remove them and get a more natural look. From my first contact with the staff, to the surgery, to every follow up appointment, Dr. Dauwe and his staff have been amazing. I visited several doctors before making my decision, and I’m really happy I used him. Dr. Dauwe didn’t use drains for the surgery, and that was great. They even accommodated the surgery date I requested, so I had surgery on Friday and I was back at work on Monday. I had lots of questions before surgery, and Dr. Dauwe and his staff listen to all my questions and put me at ease. My results are amazing, and I would definitely go back to Dr. Dauwe if I ever decide to get another procedure. I know their practice offers several different services. His 5 star status on Google prior to me even leaving this review is ample evidence that his level of quality, professionalism and bedside manner is bar none the best in his industry. Upon arriving for my consult I met with Julie and Sara, who are incredibly and genuinely sweet, personable and full of great energy. When I met with Dr. Dauwe to discuss the size and look I was going for (Breast Augmentation) he was honest and very transparent about what max CC would compliment my body type and frame. No plastic surgeon I've consulted with prior really went over the anatomy of my personal body while also explaining what going "too big" can do to the appearance, most especially long term. I appreciated the significant amount of time (most especially in comparison to meeting with most doctors) that Dr. Dauwe spent with me. Ensuring I was 100% confident before putting down any money or scheduling my surgery day. Surgery Day: I'll begin by saying I've never been put under general anesthesia and for that I was beyond nervous and full of questions.. they were meticulous at answering each and every one of them.. great deal. I showed up that morning and was set up on IV's and then taken into the surgery room. They had everything down to the temperature cozy and right in there, I laid down on the table, where they had heaters under the blankets. I chatted with his nurses, who were both INCREDIBLE with very nurturing, gentle and playful spirits. They placed the mask over me for sedation and the next thing I know I woke up in a recovery room.. ALL DONE! Dr. Dauwe personally called me the evening of surgery and the following day to ensure I was comfortable and adjusting into my new girls properly. I was impressed by that because I had my surgery 2 days after Christmas, a few days before the NY. He has a wife, kiddos and a NEWBORN that deserved all of his time, but he made it work and reaching out to me around such a busy, surrounded by family time spoke volume to me in seeing his genuine care for his patients. THE COOLEST PART? I went out to DINNER and to the park with my son that evening! I was in pain on a scale of 1-10, 5 only for the first hour... then all pain stopped for good and hasn't reoccurred. I'm a week post-op and although my chest still feels really tight, they are significantly dropped and look so beautiful! I can't get over how great I feel and I've got the incredible Lemmon Avenue Plastic Surgery team to thank for that. Ensuring I was 100% confident before putting down any money or scheduling my surgery day. Surgery Day: I'll begin by saying I've never been put under general anesthesia and for that I was beyond nervous and full of questions.. they were meticulous at answering each and every one of them.. great deal. I showed up that morning and was set up on IV's and then taken into the surgery room. They had everything down to the temperature cozy and right in there, I laid down on the table, where they had heaters under the blankets. I chatted with his nurses, who were both INCREDIBLE with very nurturing, gentle and playful spirits. They placed the mask over me for sedation and the next thing I know I woke up in a recovery room.. ALL DONE! Dr. Dauwe personally called me the evening of surgery and the following day to ensure I was comfortable and adjusting into my new girls properly. I was impressed by that because I had my surgery 2 days after Christmas, a few days before the NY. He has a wife, kiddos and a NEWBORN that deserved all of his time, but he made it work and reaching out to me around such a busy, surrounded by family time spoke volume to me in seeing his genuine care for his patients. THE COOLEST PART? I went out to DINNER and to the park with my son that evening! I was in pain on a scale of 1-10, 5 only for the first hour... then all pain stopped for good and hasn't reoccurred. I'm a week post-op and although my chest still feels really tight, they are significantly dropped and look so beautiful! I can't get over how great I feel and I've got the incredible Lemmon Avenue Plastic Surgery team to thank for that. I can't express enough through words how strongly I feel you should decide on Dr. Phillip Dauwe for any plastic surgery wants.. best experience and decision ever! More

Since I was 14 I knew I wanted a breast augmentation. My breasts were never full, I always felt boyish and like I didn’t look like all of the other girls with such a flat chest. After searching and searching for a credible doctor I found Dr. Dauwe and his staff, and they blew everyone else out of the water! His assistant Julie scheduled me quickly, and she kept in touch with me, making sure I was ready for surgery. She was so kind and she gave me a thorough run down of how the whole process works. I love how excited this office is for each patient. They call you by name and the entire experience is so personable. Dr. Dauwe is the most knowledgeable surgeon I have ever met. Not only does he make sure you are completely comfortable and answers every question you have, he also used wonderful analogies to explain things in a way that I could truly grasp them. His bedside manner was amazing. He genuinely cares about the well being of his patients and it shows. He is thorough with his work, and you can tell he’s super passionate about it. My surgery was a breeze. I am an extremely anxious person and the anesthesiologist made sure that I felt comfortable and calm before I went under. Before I knew it, my A’s were D’s and I was on my way home!! I napped, woke up, and went to dinner. The. Same. Day.
