Where do I start..my surgery was on July 19, 2023. Still in recovery currently as I did breast aug, tummy tuck and liposuction in multiple areas - 5.5h-6h surgery time. I can tell you this: next day after surgery I could lift my hands like nothing happened (feeling like you did more push-ups than you should, some soreness sure but that’s expected!) After 1.5 weeks I was already full force working visiting construction sites (I run my own business), and 2 weeks later from surgery day - I can pretty much do anything (following doctor’s “what you can and cannot do at this stage”). Recovery was EASY, pain - what pain? I had once sciatica on both legs due to over lifting weight at the gym and THAT was worse lol I am EXTREMELY happy with Dr. Dauwe. The entire process starting from me coming in for a consultation until now was simply amazing. Doctor was very reassuring and give his honest opinion based on my goals, I fully trusted and cannot be happier. Dr Dauwe did a lower face and neck lift on me in February of 2023. I had the best experience from the consult where he suggested that I get fat injections in my cheeks( using my own fat that he liposuctioned from my belly) in addition to the lift. I am so pleased that I took his advice. All my fine lines in my cheek area are gone.. I did not even bruise and had no real pain to speak of. My neck looks amazing!! I highly recommend him. Dr. Dauwe is Dallas’ Best PS! I started going to Dr. Dauwe’s office a year ago (November 2021) to see Tessa Thornton for Botox. My daughter is 5 years old. My stomach never returned to its former glory after having her which gave me a sense of body dysmophia I have never experienced. I’m naturally a slender person with a fast metabolism and while I do workout I have never had to work at being thin. No matter what I tried after pregnancy I just couldn’t get rid of my pooch or c-section shelf. While waiting for Tessa, I noticed so many happy patients come and go in the waiting room. This got me thinking more and more about doing something to rectify my stomach woes. During one of my Botox appointments I spoke with Dr. Dauwe’s nurse, Julie. She is amazing and assured me I was a great candidate for a tummy tuck. She answered several of my preliminary questions and encouraged me to schedule a consultation. Enter Dr. Dauwe…I went for my consultation and was blown away by his humility, knowledge, and kindness. Dr. Dauwe has a calming confident demeanor. For me, it’s about a vibe or if I click with someone in addition to their competence. Dr. Dauwe immediately assessed that he could address my needs and achieve my desired results. He suggested abdominoplasty and liposuction to my flanks. He recognized that I had a congenital umbilical hernia which he could resolve during the procedure as well. Let me just tell you his compassionate bedside manner is bar none and he is also efficient! My consultation was in July 2022 and during that appointment I scheduled my procedure for December 13th 2022. The pre op appointment was valuable and his superb staff helped me prepare for the “what to expect” before during and after surgery. I couldn’t wait for the day to be here. The day of surgery I arrived at the Baylor surgery center one hour before my procedure. They took me back and the team there was delightful. I could tell I was in the best hands. His anesthesiologist, Dr. Amy Ripley, from Dallas Anesthesiology Associates was lovely, encouraging, and explained everything she was going to do during the procedure. Dr. Dauwe came in to see me, and once again proved I was entrusting the right physician for the job. He marked me up and we were off to the OR. I can’t put into words his precision and attentiveness. He has a gift. He wants you to have the best results possible and wants you to be happy. Today I saw Dr. Dauwe 9 days post op. My recovery has gone as expected. My pain was well managed and I’m already standing pretty straight. (This varies from patient to patient) I couldn’t help but tell him “thank you” and will remain grateful to him for giving me my confidence back! I feel like a new better version of myself. He took excellent care of me and I would recommend him to anyone considering plastic surgery. I am thrilled with my results so far and know they will only get better from here on out! Implant exchange and mastopexy, liposuction - Dr. Dauwe is amazing!! I had BA with another doctor in 2015, my implant was way too big for my chest wall, and I was never truly happy. I had under the muscle implants for about 7 years, and even though I didn’t have any issues, I was ready to remove them and get a more natural look. From my first contact with the staff, to the surgery, to every follow up appointment, Dr. Dauwe and his staff have been amazing. I visited several doctors before making my decision, and I’m really happy I used him. Dr. Dauwe didn’t use drains for the surgery, and that was great. They even accommodated the surgery date I requested, so I had surgery on Friday and I was back at work on Monday. I had lots of questions before surgery, and Dr. Dauwe and his staff listen to all my questions and put me at ease. Breast Lift and Implant Journey - After my initial consultation on May 9th with Dr Dauwe I found out I needed a lift and implants. I am 5' 2" and started as a 36C. I am 51 years old and have 2 grown children that I breastfeed. Dr Dauwe recommended no more than 360 cc's for my size and statute in order to get the best results. I originally thought I wanted to go larger but trusted his opinion. My surgery was an anchor lift that requires your incisions have time to heal before being stretched if you get larger implants. I didn't want to have a 2nd procedure and was happy with the size Dr Dauwe selected for me. Also, I really appreciate Julie and Sarah in the front office. I can't say enough nice things about them. They help you every step of the way from scheduling appointments, answering questions to emailing paperwork and discussing cost of the procedure. Before the surgery, he discussed in detail as I had a lot of questions. He met with me 3-4 times and explained the procedure, benefits, recovery time and so on. He is very conservative and would not perform procedures if they did not achieve the results and/or if it was not needed. The surgical center was very well equipped and staffed. The patient coordinator - Mary was very easy to work with and very friendly. The surgery lasted 5-6 hours and the nurses and other staff were also very helpful. After the surgery, I stayed there until the next morning and I was very well taken care of. Post surgery, Dr Dauwe always checked on me and was available whenever I needed to reach him. After 2 weeks when my swelling subsided, I could definitely see the results and am very happy with my new look. Overall, I had a very good experience and I would definitely recommend Dr Dauwe. More

My hips and thighs would no longer respond to diet and exercise and then came the cellulite. As the years went by I would think about seeing a plastic surgeon but always talk myself out of it. Then one day I called Lemon ave. plastic surgery center and Mary ( patient coordinator) answered. She was so friendly, I instantly felt comfortable. Talk about first impressions. He made me feel like I was his only patient. He was straight up with me, he told me what he could do to help. He performed liposuction to my hips, thighs and abdomen. He did an amazing job. 38DDD, 175lbs, 5’3”, No Kids - I had my initial consultation with Dr. Dauwe on June 13, 2018. The breast reduction was submitted the same day to my insurance company. On June 26th I got the approval!!! So excited! My surgery is scheduled for the end of July, more to follow. Updated on 26 Jul 2018: I’m super excited to have my breast reduction surgery on Thursday, July 26th. I asked my surgeon about liposuction around the abdomen and flanks with butt injections. He recommended a tummy tuck, said with the extra tummy skin I would be happier with the TT. I’ve decided to postpone the TT for now. I’ve never had children, and I’m not sure if I will have kids. It was recommended I wait until after having kids for the TT. I’m just glad I’m getting the BR for now. Updated on 27 Jul 2018: Updated on 30 Jul 2018: Saw my surgeon today and he says everything looks great. Still swollen but it will go away. He recommended no underwire bras for 6 weeks so I’m sticking to sports bras. I’m so happy with my results. Almost 2lbs came off each breast and i literally feel the weight off my back. Updated on 3 Aug 2018: Swollen and bruised but moving around with tolerable pain. Doing things for myself, driving, cooking, crooked ponytails lol Updated on 8 Aug 2018: Swelling going down, surprised I’m not showing more bruising. Updated on 20 Aug 2018: I went in for my 3wk follow-up today. PS said I was healing well. I feel great except for he occasional nerve spike. PS I can workout lower body now. The Steri-Strips are starting to fall off. I have one wound that hasn’t fully scabbed so I’m covering it with dry gauze. More
