Where do I start..my surgery was on July 19, 2023. Still in recovery currently as I did breast aug, tummy tuck and liposuction in multiple areas - 5.5h-6h surgery time. I can tell you this: next day after surgery I could lift my hands like nothing happened (feeling like you did more push-ups than you should, some soreness sure but that’s expected!) After 1.5 weeks I was already full force working visiting construction sites (I run my own business), and 2 weeks later from surgery day - I can pretty much do anything (following doctor’s “what you can and cannot do at this stage”). Recovery was EASY, pain - what pain? I had once sciatica on both legs due to over lifting weight at the gym and THAT was worse lol I am EXTREMELY happy with Dr. Dauwe. The entire process starting from me coming in for a consultation until now was simply amazing. Doctor was very reassuring and give his honest opinion based on my goals, I fully trusted and cannot be happier. So if you are considering (but scared and yes, there are many plastic surgeons out there), I would highly recommend to book a consultation with Dr Dauwe. Dr Dauwe did a lower face and neck lift on me in February of 2023. I had the best experience from the consult where he suggested that I get fat injections in my cheeks( using my own fat that he liposuctioned from my belly) in addition to the lift. I am so pleased that I took his advice. All my fine lines in my cheek area are gone.. I did not even bruise and had no real pain to speak of. My neck looks amazing!! I highly recommend him. * I wanted to do an update for my tummy tuck with Dr. Dauwe. I am about 1.5 years post op. I am still the same weight maybe even a few pounds heavier. I am still so in love with my results. I am adding two new photos one is at 1 year PO and second is my before. First photo is 7 weeks PO. *original post: I have nothing but positive things to say! Dr. Dauwe is Dallas’ Best PS! I started going to Dr. Dauwe’s office a year ago (November 2021) to see Tessa Thornton for Botox. My daughter is 5 years old. My stomach never returned to its former glory after having her which gave me a sense of body dysmophia I have never experienced. I’m naturally a slender person with a fast metabolism and while I do workout I have never had to work at being thin. No matter what I tried after pregnancy I just couldn’t get rid of my pooch or c-section shelf. While waiting for Tessa, I noticed so many happy patients come and go in the waiting room. This got me thinking more and more about doing something to rectify my stomach woes. During one of my Botox appointments I spoke with Dr. Dauwe’s nurse, Julie. She is amazing and assured me I was a great candidate for a tummy tuck. She answered several of my preliminary questions and encouraged me to schedule a consultation. Enter Dr. Dauwe…I went for my consultation and was blown away by his humility, knowledge, and kindness. Dr. Dauwe has a calming confident demeanor. For me, it’s about a vibe or if I click with someone in addition to their competence. Dr. Dauwe immediately assessed that he could address my needs and achieve my desired results. He suggested abdominoplasty and liposuction to my flanks. He recognized that I had a congenital umbilical hernia which he could resolve during the procedure as well. Let me just tell you his compassionate bedside manner is bar none and he is also efficient! My consultation was in July 2022 and during that appointment I scheduled my procedure for December 13th 2022. The pre op appointment was valuable and his superb staff helped me prepare for the “what to expect” before during and after surgery. I couldn’t wait for the day to be here. The day of surgery I arrived at the Baylor surgery center one hour before my procedure. They took me back and the team there was delightful. I could tell I was in the best hands. His anesthesiologist, Dr. Amy Ripley, from Dallas Anesthesiology Associates was lovely, encouraging, and explained everything she was going to do during the procedure. Dr. Dauwe came in to see me, and once again proved I was entrusting the right physician for the job. He marked me up and we were off to the OR. I can’t put into words his precision and attentiveness. He has a gift. He wants you to have the best results possible and wants you to be happy. Today I saw Dr. Dauwe 9 days post op. My recovery has gone as expected. My pain was well managed and I’m already standing pretty straight. (This varies from patient to patient) I couldn’t help but tell him “thank you” and will remain grateful to him for giving me my confidence back! I feel like a new better version of myself. He took excellent care of me and I would recommend him to anyone considering plastic surgery. I am thrilled with my results so far and know they will only get better from here on out! Dr. Dauwe and his entire staff are incredible! I could not be more pleased with my “mommy makeover” results. They made me feel at ease and took great care of me from my first consultation, to pre-op, surgery and recovery. I met with several surgeons and pored over reviews and before and after photos before I chose him. The before and after photos speak for themselves. He is a gifted surgeon and I am so thankful I waited for the perfect fit. I’m amazed with my results and I feel like I look even better than I did pre-pregnancy! Hard to really put into words the impact my surgery has had on my life, but I will say that Dr. Dauwe and his whole staff has made this experience what I would call life changing. Dr. Dauwe has a calm, humble, demeanor, and I had been following him on IG based on a friend who mentioned he did her breast aug a few years back. When I met with his team in January they were already booked out almost 6 months for a mommy makeover. That’s a good thing! You want to find someone who is booked. Not only did I love his conservative nature and perspective in what I was looking to have done, but he spent way more time with me answering my questions than what you typically find in the healthcare space. I’ve been in healthcare working with physicians for almost 20 years, so it is saying something when a physician has no problem answering all the myriad questions you have when you are going to have a big procedure done. They also made what could be an awkward feeling, feel very normal. He has great eye contact, and his office manager Julie is great at her job and been in the industry a long time. But I have to say, what comforted and confirmed for me the most was his office staff and their friendliness, willingness to help, and their knowledge about my procedure and the process. Sara in particular is a gem of a human. I thought for my pre-op she was just being nice answering all my questions and giving me suggestions, and then when I saw her for my post op I realized: MAN! She’s not just a front desk person, she’s like THE pre and post op professional! I had called on day 3 after my surgery and she was amazing to work with on my meds. She was so patient both before and after my surgery – and it makes you feel like you are their only patient, though it looks to be a busy practice, you don’t feel that way. It’s not a mill, this is not the kind of place that doesn’t care for you and want to answer all your questions. They are truly genuine, I really felt that from Sara, Julie, Bre, and Dr. Dauwe. I haven’t seen Tess but I’m sure I will at some point, I’ve heard great things. This is a rock star team and if you’re on the fence or haven’t scheduled a consult and really walked out feeling very confident in the team – come and get one here – he will tell you his professional opinion. I have another colleague who came here before me and had a consult and he honestly told her to wait until a certain time – so he’s not doing this for volume – he really wants to do the right thing for you. He listened to my concerns and was supportive of any decision I wanted (which is a MUST for any doctor) and encouraged me to take some time with my decision. After about a week I was pretty set on going with his suggestions, and made the call to the office where Julie (the office Wonder Woman) worked with my insurance and answered any additional questions I had. Flash forward to COVID and finally getting to my date (I had originally scheduled my operation for the summer back in January), Julie and the office team made sure to talk me through any of my concerns about getting a massive procedure like this done during COVID. All of my visits (both pre-op and post) have been during the pandemic and I have always felt safe and comfortable with the standards of safety of the office. The surgery center was equally amazing as was the staff who took care of me during my first night of recovery, which for someone who was super anxious/never had any history of hospital stays is saying something! My post-op was a breeze. I was given all the information and support needed to be able to set my recovery up for success from Dr. Dauwe and his team, and always had immediate communication for any concerns or questions I had. As for the results, I was IMMEDIATELY happy with everything even bandaged and swollen. I could not possibly be happier with Dr. Dauwe, his beautiful work, his bedside manner and his office staff! I had a significant weight loss and felt self-conscious about my loose skin and sagging everything and like I couldn't fully enjoy all the hard work it took to get where I am now. Dr. Dauwe put my breasts back where they belong and shaped them beautifully and did a gorgeous tummy tuck. I am so impressed with my results and can't stop looking at myself in the mirror! After my initial consultation with Dr. Dauwe, I knew I was in safe and knowledgeable hands for my tummy tuck, which was performed in October 2020. Revised mommy makeover - gave me my life back - I went to Miami over the summer and was botched by a Dr. there In what they call a surgery mill. Thru the grace of God I found Dr. D and he was able to revise my entire botched mommy makeover that I had gotten. I honestly didn't see how anyone could "fix" the problems I had after my surgery in Miami. But I can assure Dr D is a miracle worker. I will see him for the rest of my life in whatever else I feel I need. He's absolutely amazing and he's got a genuine heart of gold. After about a week I was pretty set on going with his suggestions, and made the call to the office where Julie (the office Wonder Woman) worked with my insurance and answered any additional questions I had. Flash forward to COVID and finally getting to my date (I had originally scheduled my operation for the summer back in January), Julie and the office team made sure to talk me through any of my concerns about getting a massive procedure like this done during COVID. All of my visits (both pre-op and post) have been during the pandemic and I have always felt safe and comfortable with the standards of safety of the office. My experience with Dr. Dauwe has been beyond my expectations. The procedures that I had done were: breast augmentation and tummy tuck, I waited 22 years to have this done and the results were amazing. I really have cried of happiness to see my tummy the way it used to be before my first born. I could not possibly be happier with Dr. Dauwe, his beautiful work, his bedside manner and his office staff! I had a significant weight loss and felt self-conscious about my loose skin and sagging everything and like I couldn't fully enjoy all the hard work it took to get where I am now. I had under the muscle implants for about 7 years, and even though I didn’t have any issues, I was ready to remove them and get a more natural look. Breast Lift and Implant Journey - After my initial consultation on May 9th with Dr Dauwe I found out I needed a lift and implants. I am 5' 2" and started as a 36C. I am 51 years old and have 2 grown children that I breastfeed. Dr Dauwe recommended no more than 360 cc's for my size and statute in order to get the best results. I originally thought I wanted to go larger but trusted his opinion. My surgery was an anchor lift that requires your incisions have time to heal before being stretched if you get larger implants. I didn't want to have a 2nd procedure and was happy with the size Dr Dauwe selected for me. Also, I really appreciate Julie and Sarah in the front office. I can't say enough nice things about them. They help you every step of the way from scheduling appointments, answering questions to emailing paperwork and discussing cost of the procedure. I was so nervous and he's got such a good bed side manner. I can't wait to see how my nose comes along. After years of hating my nose I decided to get it done. He did such a great job on my mommy makeover I decided to go ahead and let him fix my nose, 100% glad I did! I had my procedure done Monday October 1, and later that night he called and checked on me personally. He truly does care about all his patients. His office staff Julie and Sarah are super awesome and super patient!Updated on 4 Oct 2018:Lol I look so lovely the pain is better than I though it was going to be. I've stopped taking my percocet and started using the tramadol. Was able to sleep fully through the night last night as well. It's weird I can breathe through my nose but don't smell anything if that makes sense. With a bit clearer head today I looked closer at my nose and can really tell I'm going to like it! I also got my lipo in my arms and back, I'm more sore with the lipo than the nose job. I've been up walking around more today as well.Updated on 30 Oct 2018:Loving my new nose thus far. I still reach up in the middle of the night to feel my nose. I still cant believe it sometimes that I actually got a nose job! I'm still having to wear my cast when i wear my glasses. I havent had any sinus headaches like behind my eyes, but i have been getting headaches still from all the rain. Starting to see some of my results from my lipo as well! More

One of the Best Decisions I’ve Ever Made - After having four babies in eight years, my tummy was in desperate need of help. I researched surgeons and procedures and I knew I wanted a plastic surgeon who preformed a drainless tummy tuck and had an overnight facility for the first night post-op. I had consultations with several qualified surgeons and had come to believe that all plastic surgery offices were going to feel like a “take a number, wait your turn, and then send you on your way” operation. 37 Year Old Mother of Three Boys. - Just had my breast reduction and tummy tuck on Thursday 28. I was so nervous but everyone was so nice. I was really nervous how my breast would turn out. My tummy tuck has been the worst part of my sugery. It hurts pretty bad. I recently underwent a liposuction and a thigh lift surgery at the Lemon Avenue Plastic Surgery and Laser center. The surgeon - Dr Dauwe was absolutely superb. Before the surgery, he discussed in detail as I had a lot of questions. He met with me 3-4 times and explained the procedure, benefits, recovery time and so on. He is very conservative and would not perform procedures if they did not achieve the results and/or if it was not needed. The surgical center was very well equipped and staffed. The patient coordinator - Mary was very easy to work with and very friendly. The surgery lasted 5-6 hours and the nurses and other staff were also very helpful. After the surgery, I stayed there until the next morning and I was very well taken care of. Post surgery, Dr Dauwe always checked on me and was available whenever I needed to reach him. After 2 weeks when my swelling subsided, I could definitely see the results and am very happy with my new look. Overall, I had a very good experience and I would definitely recommend Dr Dauwe. More

He heard me and then offered options that took what I wanted into account while keeping my health in mind. Seeing him and hearing him speak about our action plan made it apparent that he is an artist and is extremely passionate about his work. I'm thee weeks out from a MAJOR breast lift and tummy tuck that corrected pretty serious diastasis recti (abdominal muscle separation) from my pregnancies. I am over the moon - pie in my eyes excited over the results! The obvious difference is physical, but I want to talk about the other things I have experienced that have already made an impact. I was so concerned about having both silicone implants removed, double mastectomy with fat-grafting for fat transfer then correcting my previous abdominoplasty scar. I am so happy to say that the end results exceeded my expectations. Dr. Dauwe was comforting and reassuring the he was going to take great care of my needs, reassuring me that everything was going to be fine. He did and it was. My main surgeon left shortly after my procedures and Dr. Dauwe seamlessly took over my post op care. Not one time did I ever feel uncomfortable or like a burden with all of my crazy questions. He was extremely patient, caring and honest (even if it means turning down a procedure he doesn't think is needed). I was under his full care in April of 2015 when I had a thigh lift done. It's been almost a year later and he still checks to see how I'm doing. He 100% goes above and beyond for his patients. I cannot speak highly enough of him and recommend him to EVERYONE I know. 38DDD, 175lbs, 5’3”, No Kids - I had my initial consultation with Dr. Dauwe on June 13, 2018. The breast reduction was submitted the same day to my insurance company. On June 26th I got the approval!!! So excited! My surgery is scheduled for the end of July, more to follow. Updated on 26 Jul 2018: I’m super excited to have my breast reduction surgery on Thursday, July 26th. I asked my surgeon about liposuction around the abdomen and flanks with butt injections. He recommended a tummy tuck, said with the extra tummy skin I would be happier with the TT. I’ve decided to postpone the TT for now. I’ve never had children, and I’m not sure if I will have kids. It was recommended I wait until after having kids for the TT. I’m just glad I’m getting the BR for now. Updated on 27 Jul 2018: Updated on 30 Jul 2018: Saw my surgeon today and he says everything looks great. Still swollen but it will go away. He recommended no underwire bras for 6 weeks so I’m sticking to sports bras. I’m so happy with my results. Almost 2lbs came off each breast and i literally feel the weight off my back. Updated on 3 Aug 2018: Swollen and bruised but moving around with tolerable pain. Doing things for myself, driving, cooking, crooked ponytails lol Updated on 8 Aug 2018: Swelling going down, surprised I’m not showing more bruising. Updated on 20 Aug 2018: I went in for my 3wk follow-up today. PS said I was healing well. I feel great except for he occasional nerve spike. PS I can workout lower body now. The Steri-Strips are starting to fall off. I have one wound that hasn’t fully scabbed so I’m covering it with dry gauze. More
